Screw You Anxiety

Image
Alright let's get right to the point, anxiety sucks. If you’re someone that has anxiety I'm sorry for all the people that have ever told you to just breath or to just calm down. If you’re someone who doesn't have anxiety then I suggest you read this. Let's get one thing out of the way. Anxiety is not caused by one thing or something that happened. Most of the time it's due to a collection of bad thoughts or worries. Its an overwhelming feeling of panic that could happen at any second. Anxiety isn’t just worrying, I mean it starts as worrying. Then that turns into something scary and uncontrollable. Your brain starts fighting itself and then everything is happening you start losing it. Another misconception is that people only get anxiety when they’re in stressful situations. Your brain is always working, it's not going to stop for anything. People that have anxiety have constant fears running through their head and at any given moment they could have a pan...

Invisible

I sit here in the stall wondering what I am? What I mean to people as tears roll down my face. There’s no reason for why I'm here. We walk into this place where we know we will get judged we walk in hoping we get to see someone fail today, and when we do we get excited about it. But it never gets easier, in fact, it gets harder to push through each day hoping to make it out alive. We all sit here but nobody sees the hurt others have, it's easy to sit here and say I'm fine just tir...

Observations

I'm an observer. I see you all I hear all your comments to each other. I'm sitting in class, I hear you whispering about some guy or girl. I see you laugh when a student gets a problem wrong in front of the class. I see you pick on that student because they're “too fat.” I watch you look at that girl in disgust because she's not wearing makeup. I watch you look at that guy is disgust because he doesn't have abs. But what I really question is when did we get like this? When did we get so happy when we see someone fail? Why does it make us so happy to see someone cry? Nobody knows the answer. Let me tell you one thing. We allow people to change us. Each morning we wake up, the first thing we do is look at social media. We look at these images of how we should be. Students walk into this school already having to deal with pain from home, then having to deal with the pain from others at school. They sit in class wondering if they belong here anymore if anyone woul...
